My guest this week is Isaac Getz. Isaac is a Professor at the top-ranked ESCP Europe Business School and is former Visiting Professor at Cornell and Stanford.
Dr. Getz’s work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Strategy+Business, Financial Times, Le Monde, CNBC, Fox and other leading media on four continents. He is a columnist in Le Monde and won the best Op-Ed 2017 award.
A 2016 study by FNEGE (The French National Foundation for the Management and Business Education) on the world 50 most influential living management thinkers ranked Isaac at N°4.
Dr. Getz studied over 300 companies in 30 countries and published research on diverse topics related to innovation, leadership, corporate transformation, employee engagement, and freedom and responsibility culture.
He is a co-author of the award-winning and best-selling business book Freedom, Inc., translated to a dozen of languages. Isaac’s latest book Leadership with Ego, was released in December 2018.
Isaac Getz’s work and action have been instrumental in the rise of the corporate liberation movement in Europe. It includes Michelin, Airbus, Decathlon, several Belgian ministries, French Social Security, municipalities, and hundreds of other companies and institutions which have transformed their command-and-control organisations into freedom- and responsibility-based ones.
He is currently carrying the research on the companies which put the interests of their clients, suppliers and local society first; and believe that by doing that they will also be economically successful.
Isaac Getz is an active speaker on the topics of corporate transformation/liberation, post-managerial organisation, and radical leadership and he has spoken to hundreds of companies and institutes. His presentations are lively, illustrated by case studies he has observed in world-class companies, and always delivered with humour.
