How to Win in the Mobile Economy

Scientists in Antarctica are downloading mobile games. Parents in Asia worry about their kids’ screen time. Islanders in American Samoa connect with 4G and Sherpas in Nepal chat on their smartphones while lugging 80-pound loads. The mobile economy is at a global tipping point – mobile is the future of business and that future is here. Anindya Ghose helps businesses capitalize on it and shows how to win through mobile disruption.
Drawing from his book, “TAP: Unlocking the Mobile Economy” (MIT Press, 2017), Professor Ghose will empower leaders to tap into the nine forces shaping the mobile economy. Learn how mobile strategies can resolve consumer behavioural contradictions and delight consumers all at the same time. Wield the true power behind mobile marketing, its influence over shoppers, and tap the lucrative opportunities.

No Time Like the Present: Go Digital

How are you thinking about digital marketing? What are the challenges you face? How do you decide which resources to invest? Anindya Ghose answers these questions and shares best practices for digital marketing, from top-level strategy to analytics-oriented tools and how they can improve your organization from the ground up. Thriving in today’s digital-centric environment requires understanding the current mega-trends of digital disruption. Based on your needs, this presentation can be customized to focus on the creation and execution of your organization’s comprehensive digital marketing plan.

The Future of Retail: Winning the Digital Transition

The future of retail is incredibly bright, but we are only at the beginning of the big shift that comes with mobile digital connectivity. Massive technological disruptions, tied to major changes in consumer behaviour, are altering the rules of the retail space. As consumers spend more time shopping on their mobile devices, they will come to expect a seamless experience between digital and in-person. Brick-and-mortar businesses have a huge opportunity to incorporate mobile to carve out a valuable space for themselves, even in the face of the growth of subscription-based platforms. Don’t get left behind.

How to Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Marketing and Business

Devices and algorithms rule our lives. We text, talk and shop from the devices while artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms – seamlessly integrated to track our every digital and geographical move – collect mountains of data. And yet, businesses are not capitalizing on the opportunities that AI offers when trying to reach their target audience. What we are seeing now in the third AI boom or AI 3.0. The current innovation surrounding AI is largely driven by the rapid growth in a method of machine learning called deep learning. Having studied AI in North America, Europe and in Asia, Ghose can discuss the issue of data governance and data quality in AI. Firms that place their bets on algorithms without evaluating the governance and quality of their data will miss the opportunities and promises of AI. In order for businesses to succeed in the AI age, they must gain consumer trust so they’ll freely share data, enabling businesses to use AI and provide targeted advertising that consistently proves useful to the end. Brands need to use AI to act as a butler and concierge, not as a stalker.
