He has written, produced and scored songs for a number of hit films, including ‘Alfie’ and ‘Madagascar 3’. Dave is the founder of Weapons of Mass Entertainment (WME), which was set up in order to link creative ideas to music, television, film, new media, theatre and book projects, and which was described by The LA Times as a “media company for the new world”.
Dave’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop with WME, he created a successful multimedia creative centre and members’ club in London – The Hospital Club with Microsoft’s co-founder, Paul Allen and released a business book entitled “The Business Playground”, co-authored with Mark Simmons.
In 2015 Dave Stewart launched the First Artist Bank, aiming to provide artists with a one-stop shop for money management, monetisation and product marketing.
