Jacques Villeneuve is one of the most successful racing drivers of all time, being one of only five to have won both the Formula One World Championship and the Indianapolis 500, placing him alongside Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Mario Andretti and Emerson Fittipaldi.
The son of Gilles Villeneuve, regarded by many as the most famous Ferrari Formula One driver of all time, it came as no surprise when Jacques enrolled in the Jim Russell Racing Driver’s School in Quebec at the age of 15.
A successful junior career in Europe and North America took him into the highest echelons of racing in the United States when he made his CART (Indycar) debut in 1994 and finished 2nd in the Indianapolis 500 at his first attempt. In 1995 he won the CART title, and scored a resounding and memorable victory in that year’s Indy 500.
In 1996 he was signed to race in Formula One for the Williams team, scoring a pole position and almost winning on his debut. He finished 2nd to team mate Damon Hill in that first season, and then fought a titanic battle against Michael Schumacher to win the World Championship title in 1997.
A third year with Williams in 1998 was followed by 5 years at British American Racing, a team he co-founded and part owned, and which would later develop into the current Mercedes Benz Formula One team. Jacques Villeneuve’s Formula One racing career came to an end in 2006 after spells with the Renault and Sauber teams.
Since then he has competed in a wide range of motor sport including the Le Mans 24 Hours sports car race, NASCAR, GT Racing, World Rallycross and the new all-electric Formula E series.
A keen musician, he remains closely involved in Formula One as a commentator for both French and Italian Television, his multi-lingual skills putting him in high demand within this international sport. He is also involved in race circuit design, and indulges in his passion for skiing and winter sports at his home in Switzerland.
A unique opportunity is provided by Jacques Villeneuve in partnership with Mark Gallagher, a former member of the senior management at Jordan Grand Prix and Red Bull Racing, as they combine forces to deliver a compelling presentation.

“It is great to be able to turn up, perform and deliver for the client, without having to worry about all the logistics and planning which I know Maria and her team arrange perfectly. I have really enjoyed the events I have done with them to date.” Jacques
