Jennie Gow

Journalist, Broadcaster and renowed as one of Formula One's foremost media professionals

Jennie Gow is a journalist, broadcaster and event host who broke into the world of Formula One motor racing in 2010 and has since become renowned as one of the sport’s foremost media professionals.

One of the few women to work in this demanding arena, Jennie is currently to be found presenting and reporting on Formula One for both the BBC and ESPN. She is often faced with the challenge of interviewing Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso in the wake of their latest triumph – or disaster.

She has previously been the lead presenter for ITV’s Formula E Championship in its inaugural seasons and also the BBC’s MotoGP coverage.

Setting a great example for the cause of Women in Sport, mentoring girls and young women eager to learn from her success, Jennie Gow is delighted to have been made an ambassador for the Dare To Be Different organisation that promotes and supports women working in motorsport, a sector which has been traditionally male dominated.

For the last few years Jennie has presented the annual Motorsport Hall of Fame Awards in London, which has fast become one of the most prestigious evenings in the motorsport calendar.

Away from motor-powered action Jennie Gow is a knowledgeable and respected sports presenter and reporter, having honed her skills on Sky Sports News for several years.

She has also presented The Friday Sports Panel, Netball, The London Marathon, World Cup Rowing, T20 World Cup Cricket, the FA Women’s Cup Final and she is a regular pundit (and show winner) on BBC Radio 5 Live’s ‘Fighting Talk’.

Jennie was nominated for the SJA’s ‘Best Radio Documentary of the Year’ for her work on the BBC’s James Hunt special and last year she won great acclaim for originating, producing and presenting the grid girls documentary on BBC Radio, which started the debate on the subject. She is currently working on several more documentaries.

Dedicated, professional, with a great sense of humour and a passion for everything she does; whether it’s presenting, reporting, voice-overs or hosting events Jennie Gow has vast experience and a real passion for what she does.
